Jenn Germain
Before joining the Green Street family, she spent 10 years as head teacher at The Owl Tree Nursery School. Jenn has been in the field of education for 20+ years.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a second major in education from Castleton State College, now Castleton University, in 1994. She considers teaching at Green Street is her “dream job”. Jenn also recently received her Master's in Educational Practices with a concentration in mathematics.
Jenn grew up in Arlington, VT. After college, she moved to Brattleboro where lived for 20 years. Jenn has two children, an english bulldog and french bulldog. Some of Jenn’s hobbies include; photography, hiking, reading and snowboarding. Jenn knew she wanted to be a teacher from a very young age.
When ever she had the chance, she would beg her brother to play school. She likes to think that this helped him to be the excellent student that he was. He would probably say differently though.

Alex Derosia
Alex Derosia was born and raised in Vermont. Before teaching 3rd grade at Green Street she taught special education in grades kindergarten through 5th grade for 3 years.
Alex earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Castleton University in 2018. She also earned an endorsement in Special Education and a concentration in History. Alex focused her studies on the social and emotional learning of students through Castleton's Civic Engagement program.
In her spare time she enjoys exploring new places, learning new things, and spending time with her friends and family.
